TRAVEL AGENT CERTIFICATION PROGRAM

Travel agent career professionals consistently help people plan family vacations, corporate trips, cruises, international travel and specialty tours such as adventure vacations. Overall, a travel agent career professional can help consumers plan the most appropriate travel arrangements for their needs.

Our Travel Agent Certification Program will enable graduates to perform their tasks either as a Travel Agent or as a Travel Consultant.  This Certification Program could enable graduates to work with any local or major corporation or can even lead them to open their own travel agency.

This Certification Program is available both on-line or in-class.

Certification: 

Graduates will receive a Travel Agent Certificate in English or French.  This certificate will enable graduates to enter the labor market either as a Travel Agent or as a Travel Consultant. Our accredritation as an IATA Learning Center grants all certificates issued by the Canadian Tourism Institute worldwide recognition.  


Requirements:

-Minimum 18 years old
-Completed secondary school education or equivalent
-Minimum intermediate command of the English language

TOUR GUIDE CERTIFICATION PROGRAM

Highlights of the Program:

During this course the participants will acquire the knowledge to perform their duties as a Tour Guide or even as a Tour Operator Representative Abroad.  

This Certification Program has been designed in partnership with the Canadian Tourism Commission. Upon completing the program graduates will be able work with major international tour operators locally or abroad. Some of our graduates have worked for Thomas Cook and Air Transat Holidays.

The Certificate will contain both the logo of the Canadian Tourism Institute and the logo of the Canadian Tourism Commission.

HOTEL CONCIERGE CERTIFICATION PROGRAM

Highlights of the Program:

The Consierge Cerfiticate Program is designed to provide comprehensive training and an insider’s view into world-class concierge main functions, along with the required supervisory and communication skills to succeed in hospitality operations.

The course objectives include understanding the quality and traits of becoming a concierge, daily operations, five star/five diamond training, developing a critical eye, using outside suppliers, entertainment & nightlife recommendations and restaurant relationships.

This program was designed along with educational experts from "Les Clefs D'Or". It is one of the most comprehensive concierge training programs in North America.

This certificate will help graduates enter the labour market within the hotel industry at any local and major hotels around the world.   The Certificate will contain CIT's logo as well as the very prestigious logo of "Les Clefs d’Or" in order to guarantee its worldwide recognition. 


Requirements: 

-25 to 55 years old
-Completed secondary school education or equivalent
-Minimum two years of experience working in the hotel industry
-Minimum intermediate command of the English language
